SPECIFIC GROUP CULTURES AS RELEASE MECHANISMS FOR INDIVIDUAL BEHAVIOR PATTERNS
Keywords:
BEHAVIOR PATTERNSAbstract
Our working hypothesis in both training and psychotherapy (Bach, 1) is that the growth as well as the maintenance of healthy individuality depends as much on effective participation in psychologically relevant groups, as it does on two-person relationships with "significant others." Reusch (2) agrees with this view when he defines, "the mastery of communication in groups, which is basically different from that in two-person situations, is the mark of the healthy person." (p. 146).
