PROGRESS IN PSYCHOTHERAPY 1956

PSYCHOTHERAPYAbstract
This book fills a real need. It is most valuable, at this point of development in our field, to have this up-to-date cross section of various viewpoints, which may pave the way for a much-needed meeting in operational terms of the different schools and approaches in the wider field of psychotherapy. This I know to be the· editors' intention, and they gain our gratitude for having made a concrete beginning with this book. Many divergent schools are represented, and one cannot of course expect that these short accounts do full justice to them.
