ReviewAbstract
"Small Groups" is a collection of papers on studies in social interaction. This collection may well be the most helpful ready reference to studies in social interaction since Cartwright and Zander issued "Group Dynamics." In this series of unreprinted materials the editors report the historical and theoretical background of group studies, reveal some of the early research, and follow with current theory in the first part of the work. The second part has the individual as the focus in social situations, while the third part enlarges the area and views the whole group as a system of social interaction.
