A NOTE ON ROLE PLAYING IN AN INDUSTRIAL SETTING

Abstract

In a recent experience with a client I used role playing in a situation which was of great interest to.me and may be of value for record. First let's consider briefly the background of this problem. The client has a base of operations in Chicago and two manufacturing centers outside the city: (To avoid embarrassment, I will try to keep away from identifying locale or personnel). At the Chicago base activities consist of selling, warehousing and distribution. At the manufacturing sites which we shall identify as Largeville and Smallville, several variations of a basic product are fabricated.
