PSYCHODRAMA IN A WELL-BABY CLINIC

Abstract

It should be pointed out here that the psychodramatic approach is equally effective during pregnancy, when the experience "of pregnancy' are stirring up conflicts within the prospective mother. In such cases a trained auxiliary ego takes the part of the "psychological baby" within the mother, as a "warmer upper," to help the mother to free herself from her fears and to establish a more secure relationship to her child.
