READING MORENO'S AUTOBIOGRAPHY has been a poignant, enlightening, intellectually stimulating, and sometimes a sad experience for me. What has been sad is that this creative, at times brilliant, pioneering, risk-taking man, who actually made significant contributions to the development of modem psychotherapeutic methods and theories, did not quite "make it" with his colleagues in the psychiatric profession.
