THE SOCIAL LIVING CLASS: A MODEL FOR THE USE OF SOCIODRAMA IN THE CLASSROOM

The school as a social institution is unparalled in its potential to act as a preventative mental health service. The social living class model presented here is a curriculum addition designed to include sociodrama sessions in the weekly activities of the school classroom. Children are encouraged to explore and learn functional roles for various situations encountered in social living.
