Abstract

The 1970 White House Conference. on Children was• a • milestone in conferences of this type as it utilized' group dynamic action methods to allow conferees greater identification· with children's problems in their search for creative solutions to the, difficulties: that fate young people. Participants came to the five-day Conference from all professional disciplines which serve children. The goal of the' Conference was to recommend policy legislation and programs to the President in order to meet the needs of children.
